No matter where you stay in the United States, car insurance is quite imperative. You really cannot assume that it is okay to go out with your car or minivan without having proper and valid car insurance. That would be quite against the provision of laws pertaining to car insurance. It is not enough to just have car registration papers or a driver’s license. While these are necessary, one would also need to have car insurance as well as proof of it.
