Four vehicles have been seized for no insurance during a Police road safety day in Bradford. Several drivers were also issued with fixed penalty notices for other traffic offences including not wearing a seat belt, using a mobile phone and having unlawful window tints. The road safety day took place in and around the Wibsey, Royds and Queensbury areas on Friday (23rd October). Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant Michael Cox - who organised the event - said: "The road safety day was a success. We dealt with those drivers who are breaking the law with fines and warnings, and helped other drivers who want to keep themselves and their passengers safe with advice and assistance. We took four vehicles away from drivers with no insurance and will continue to do so."
